Katherine Loewen of Steinbach passed away peacefully at Bethesda Hospital, February 18, 2007, at the age of 93. She leaves to mourn her passing her children; Elma Wiens, John (Sylvia), Bertha (Dave), Ed (Dale), Leona (Bill), Nettie (Art), Len (Sandra), Peter, Dennis and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Isaac R. Loewen in 1989. Thank you to Dr. Ilchyna and the staff at Bethesda Hospital for the excellent care they gave Mom during her stay. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 23, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with interment at Heritage Cemetery.
