ANNA PLETT It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anna Plett on February 22, 2007 in Steinbach, Manitoba at the age of 73. Anna is mourned by her husband Henry, children Ron, Cheryl, Tim (Jennifer), James, and Kathy and by her grandchildren Joshua, Allison, Christopher, and Rachael. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Gordon Termeer. Anna was born on March 15, 1933 in Landmark, Manitoba; the 4th of 7 children. She lived most of her life in Landmark before moving to Winnipeg following school. She worked hard in those early years to help support her family before marrying Henry in 1954 and starting her own family. Anna was a generous and loving person, giving and receiving with her whole being every chance she got. She cherished her family and friends and was especially devoted to her grandchildren. She beamed with pride at their accomplishments and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with them. When thinking of Anna, many thoughts come to mind. She loved to help her friends and neighbors, and her door was always open to anyone in need. She was known as an amazing cook and many vied to sit at her dinner table. She was a quiet soul who demonstrated her Christian love through her everyday actions. She, with her husband, enjoyed an active social life together, filled with family, friends and travel. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach on Monday, February 26 at 7 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, February 27 at the Prairie Rose E.M.C. in Landmark with interment at the church cemetery.
