Peter M. Friesen, age 75, of La Broquerie, formerly of Grunthal, MB passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg. He is survived by his wife Katharine (nee Dueck), children Elaine Dorvault, Erwin (Audrey) Friesen, Marilyn Wall; five sisters, three brothers and their families. He was predeceased by one son-in-law Gerard Fillion on January 12, 2011; parents Frank T. and Katherine Friesen; stepmother Anne and brother John. The funeral service will be held Friday, January 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach with interment at Heritage Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care and support.
