Elizabeth Jewitt-Cross(Chorleywood, Great Britain) posted a condolence

We will all miss Uncle Fred (Gwynn as we knew him to all his family in England) very much.
A larger than life character who although thousands of miles away from us, we knew cared very much for us all and it was always a pleasure to meet up on trips to Canada or when Connie and Gwynn visited us.
Mum's greatest memory is the time they all had together in Fontainbleu in France when Gwynn was posted over there in their younger years. Our own fondest memory was when Gwynn and Connie were able to come over especially for our wedding and my best friend and maid of honour Fiona also remembers him with 'humour' for his fun flirting!!....he was so naughty!
He was so very sad when our father Clem passed away almost 3 years to the day of his own passing this year and we hope they are both united now and having some fun and laughter once again in heaven.
Connie, Diane, Glynis and all the family, We are sorry that distance prevents us from joining you today but we will be thinking of you all today back in England.
Our Love As Always
Elizabeth, June, Gerald, Zoe, & Oscar
