Peacefully on Monday, June 11, 2007, Eva Doerksen passed away at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach at the age of 93. Eva leaves to cherish her memory: Harry, Edith, Mary, David (Sue), Ron (Margaret), Ernie, Grace (Marce) and John; 31 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband David Doerksen, Daughter Florence Doerksen, sons-in-law Cornie Funk and Lloyd Cross, grandchildren Robert, Ricky and Chantale Doerksen. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Chortitzer Mennonite Church in Grunthal on Friday, June 15 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Grunthal Cemetery.
