It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of Jake Enns, our husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa at the age of 66. On November 26th, 2008 due to multiple organ failure he passed away at the Ste. Anne Hospital with his family by his side. Jake is survived by his wife Linda (nee Voth), daughter Marlene (Henry) Harder and grandchildren Candace (Frayne) and baby Emery (great-granddaughter), Brent, Desirée, Dusten and Turrell; and daughter Beverly (Peter) Harder. We are thankful he is no longer in pain, but is at peace in the arms of the Lord. Dad was the most dedicated employee that an employer could hope for. Dad was employed by Barkman Concrete for 47 long years until his retirement in 2004. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach on Sunday, November 30 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Southland Community Church, 190 Hwy 52 W, Steinbach on Monday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Rosengard Cemetery.
