Surrounded by her family, Carolyn Mair (nee Funk), passed away January 31, 2012 at the age of 57, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle, parents Otto and Margaret Funk, two sisters: Connie (Abass) Kamara, Judy Funk; one brother Jeff (Leona) Funk and their families. The funeral will take place Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Mission Church, 233 3rd Street S., Niverville, MB, with interment at the Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville. Attendees are encouraged to wear a vibrant scarf, representing Carolyn’s personality.
