On April 29th, 2009 at Sainte-Anne’s Hospital, Roger Gagnon passed away with his wife Patricia by his side. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Patricia, his children Rejean, Patrick and Melanie; his brothers Guy (Suzanne), Paul (Tink), Claude (Roseline) Jacques, Normand (Nicole), Jean-Marc (Janice), Maurice (Kathy), his sister Jeanine (Roland), his sister-in-law Pauline (Jack) Delisle and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Roland, his mother Denise, his step-mother Fabienne and his brother-in-law Pete Kocsir. Roger will be remembered for his ‘joie de vivre’, his loud laughter, his love of family gatherings and his keen interest in learning. Roger loved canning, enjoyed the meetings with the Knights of Columbus and was thrilled to use on a yearly basis one of his unique talents, impersonating Santa Claus! Funeral services presided by Father René Chartier will be held at Sainte-Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. preceded by the eulogy at 6:45 p.m. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
