Dear Phyllis, While on a sailing trip in BC this past week, Steve and I heard the sad news of Jim’s death. It was a shock to us since we dint know he was sick. A few weeks ago Steve and I were at Penney Dodge and evidently We just missed seeing Paul. I have been in Steinbach in February for mother’s 100th and then again for her funeral in March so that occupied my mind. I am so sorry for your great loss and send much love and a big hug to you....Jim was very special to me and my memories of him are all sweet. I’m praying that God will sustain you through these very hard days. With our love and prayers, Carol Anne and Steve

Dear Phyllis, Paul, Mary Jane, Georgia & Max,
First of all, my deepest condolences to you all on your loss of a wonderful man. I will continue to pray that you feel Jesus's arms around you all as you grieve. We know that Jim is safe and healthy now in the presence of God.
Second, I want to share my memory of Jim. It was always a good Saturday working at Steinbach Dodge when Jim was upstairs eating lunch. He and I both liked to tell stories and we shared many, many stories and lunches together. I was always impressed when he would remember the smallest detail of my weekend plans and would inquire how they went. He made quite the impression on me as a thoughtful, caring man to all that showed up for lunch, whether they were a young teenager/adult like myself or the manager of the office. It was evident that he was walking in his faith and quite literally being the hands and feet of Jesus during my brief encounters with him. Jim made sure to know that I knew Jesus and encouraged me to continue to explore my faith.
This is a great loss for your family and my prayers are with you.
Tiffany

Jim, I got to know you when you had me dig all the ponds at your country property. You were excited to show me your property and shared what you did there for your family and with your family. You are now with your Heavenly Father and I am sure He is excited to show you the mansion He has prepared for you.

Dear Phyllis & family, our sincere condolences at the passing of Jim. He was a wonderful example of Christian Faith & love for his family. We enjoyed sharing in Small Group with you for a number of years & he was a good friend. We spoke with him in September at Wendy’s Funeral. It is so hard to believe that they are both gone. Our prayers & love go with you.

I am so saddened to hear of Jim's passing, but rejoice with you and your family that he is with the Lord, relieved of all pain and suffering. So many fond memories of your and Jim's love and friendship during our life in Steinbach. Yes I agree that your husband was an incredibly kind and generous man. His friendship with my husband Rudy was so very special. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers as you grieve your great loss. Much Love, Susan

Jim Neustaedter was truly one of the most gentle of men I have had the pleasure of knowing. Our main connection came when he served the community by sitting on the Chamber Board for many years. He was so passionate about his beloved community and he spearheaded many projects through the Chamber - one being the concrete planters on Main Street. His enthusiasm was contagious. My deepest sympathy to Paul and the entire Neustaedter family. He will be missed.
