Obituary of Nancy Ensign

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Nancy Ensign, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away at her residence. She was ushered into the presence of her Lord whom she loved. Surrounded by her family, she peacefully answered the call to go home.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Elvin, her sons: Mark, David (Jocelyn), Paul; daughter, Michelle (Troy) along with granddaughter Haylee. She also leaves her sisters: Sharon Williams, Debbie Werdal, Bev McDonald and brother Mike Werdal, along with many dear in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nancy enjoyed reading, crocheting and teaching Sunday School. She was a vendor at many craft shows in Winnipeg, Flin Flon and Gimli, where her crochet work was purchased and can be found in many homes across these areas. She was a fantastic and dedicated cook, giving her time preparing full course meals once a week for a seniors group at East Kildonan Baptist Church.

Nancy Marie was a hard worker with a graceful spirit towards others. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Highway, Wpg, MB., with refreshments to follow.
