Just over two years, dad, since it’s today Monday April 26th 2022, of God bringing you to your second yet your eternity home forever in heaven, I’m broken, there are days where I can get on and live on and do life handle my life etc but other days the struggle without your actual presence is not doing well to me to my mind, mom misses you, I see it always, now we’re cleaning house, moving on, downsizing the place, we may move, or whatever, still, you’re loved and you’ll always be loved. You definitely did it right in the being a father department for me and I’m sure to Clayton too and the children. You’re missed to all. You’re never forgotten. So many people know you and have known of you. Mom and me talk about like daily about you or on our drives to our wherever places just chatting about the past our life together you knowing and people knowing you in the area and beyond. You we’re humbley popular People had a keen eye on that about you. Many people that mom and me hit up with on our journeys to places we go to to shop sightsee etc talk how you were such a cheerful man a total type for people to like. How they were to you you were easy going laid back take things always with a take your time stride I’m sad for Ukraine. I have no idea if you see how it really actually is there from heaven above us, I know you’d not like what the sight of it now as well. I pray Ukraine isn’t horrific like as all news places say talk and show but who knows. ? Right. ? Given our Ukrainian background I kinda take it as a hit to us in a kinda sense way type like. I pray for you. Are you well? I talk to you when I do can I’m sure mom and others too do. Who knows but them. Right. ? I felt it was a push for me to write something to you about you on the second year of you no longer with us in the total physical way. I Love you I’ll see you soon when god will come get me. XOXO I’m making it daddy I’m making it for mom. I’m making it with myself too. Again we all LOVE YOU ETERNICALLEY R I P

Our deepest sympathies to you Christine,Carlee, Clayton &Family during this time. Larry will be very missed by all. I am very fortunate to have many great memories of him playing with my dad in the Sincerely Yours Band and then now many years with myself in the Band. We shared many laughs at jokes on stage, travels to dances together and a lot of coffee chats at McDonald’s and Skylite back in the day. U always had a smile on your face and a great sense of humour. Larry I will miss you and your guitar playing very much but will Cherish the time we did get to spend together. Keep playing that music up above and and keep cheering for those jets!!
Rest In Peace,
Ryan, Heather, Quinn & Avery Smuk

On behalf of the entire Green Valley School community we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Larry’s entire family. Mr. Block took great pride in safely transporting hundreds of students to and from school on a daily basis, for well over 20+ years. Larry truly cared for all of the students and for his fellow colleagues. Larry was a great asset to the team of bus drivers from the rural areas surrounding Grunthal. Larry’s presence, his knowledge, his wisdom, his stories, and his analysis of every Winnipeg Blue Bomber game will truly be missed. Our staff, students and entire school community send our thoughts and prayers to Larry’s family and friends. Mr. Block, you will be missed.
