Obituary of Betty Bergen

Betty Bergen, 73, of Steinbach, MB., passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

Betty was born November 1, 1946 to Abraham and Anna (nee Dueck) Broesky. She is survived by her four children; Sheila (Darren), Kirby, Michelle and Michael (Tanis), six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six brothers, five sisters and their families.

Betty was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry of 53 years, grandson Corey, mother Anna, father Abraham, sisters Lorraine, Helen and Mary, brother Abe, as well as Peter and Cornie in infancy.

A graveside viewing and service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Cemetery in Steinbach.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Due to the restrictions because of COVID19 there will only be 10 people allowed at the graveside at a time. Everyone else must remain in their vehicle until those 10 people have returned to their vehicle.

In lieu of flowers and cards, if so desired, donations in memory of Betty may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba.
