Our condolences to you Uncle Dave and the rest of the family. Auntie Nellie baked the best Jam Jam cookies I had ever had. She knew I love them so much that when she was able to she would bring me some when she came to the festivities. She was an amazing cook and a loving caring person.

As a small child I remember coming to your house on Sunday afternoons for "Faspa". She made the best homemade buns on this side of Yandt Zeed. I always looked forward to a bologna sandwich made with her homemade buns.
To Uncle Dave ,Kelvin, Roger and your families you have our heartfelt condolences . She was an absolutely lovely lady that was so kind and caring.
I will miss her.

Growing up in Kleefeld I have memories of Nellie being our baby sitter at times. I remember her as a quiet gentle soul and send my condolences to her family. People who love much are also much loved.

Rob and I were so sorry to hear of Nellie passing and our condolences go out to you and the family. I know you will miss her dearly. Nellie, together with Dave, were good friends of my mother and she appreciated them very much. I learned to know them better and appreciate them through that friendship. Kelvin and Roger, the death of a loved mother is an incalculable lasting blow because no one ever loves you like that again. We are praying that the God of all comfort may be especially near you at this time.

Dave, Roger, Kel and families,
Nellie was a significant, friendly and valued member of the MHV volunteer team. The obituary published on this site describes her contributions very well. When she was no longer able to contribute, I think we were most concerned about who would make the roll kuchen. Nellie also had a key role in ensuring that the rhubarb was harvested, cut and frozen at the right time. (MHV uses a lot of rhubarb!) MHV has already missed her and surely you, her family, will miss her as well. Marty and I offer our condolences and wish you peace and comfort as you review your many fond memories of her involvement in your lives.
