She was a kindred spirit- one of the funnest & genuine women of faith I have had the privilege to know. The world is a sadder place without her, but she is now home & pain free. She will be remembered always.

Loretta was a mom figure and mentor to many of us. She led with love and laughter and taught us to always trust God, even through really hard times and immense pain. She was real, and she had real faith. She has left a legacy in each of us to continue to follow her example to love the next generation, spurring them on in their faith and love for God and our neighbours.

It is with sadness that I hear the news of Loretta. My heart goes out to the family during this trying time. The Peters family holds a special place in my heart which again today hurts a little bit more.

I am sorry to hear of Loretta's passing. I have many fond memories of "hanging out" with Tyrone on Robertson Street and how kind she was to me. She was always welcoming and generous. I was always welcome by her ( and George) on family outings.
My condolences to her family.

Love the photo of Loretta. That's the way I know her. I don't remember when I got to know her but it's been most of my life and was through church connections. She was a funny, gracious lady and whenever we met up, it felt like we were best friends. My condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed and the memories you have will become more precious. I will continue to smile when I think of her. Hugs to you all.

Although I did not get to know Loretta well, I remember meeting her. It's not hard to recognize Loretta's beautiful smile and to hear the joy in her voice! I know she and our Aunt Mary Gerbrandt were friends. It was only now, as I read her life notice, I realized she was a Winklerite and that I remember her parents! Gerald and I (Pat Klassen, then) grew up in Winkler and the EMMC was our home church.) Sharon, our sincere condolences. What a comfort it is to know our loved ones are safe at Home, and that we can anticipate a reunion eventually. Cherish your good memories!
