Ed gave me a job during college. Even though it was only one summer, I was truly blessed to have worked with him. I will always have great memories of my time with him. When I asked what I should call him on the job sight, without hesitation or missing a beat, he simply replied, "Your majesty will be just fine." It was great how he let that sink in before he cracked up laughing and said, "Ed will work." And from then on, he taught me a lot more. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Myrtle and family our condolences to you. Ed and I go back a long way, we started high school together, then later in life we crossed paths again Often enjoyed each others company over coffee. He had an encouraging and common sense approach to the situation at hand. He just recently suggested that what we did in leaving a legacy will have so little bearing in all eternity. Ill sure miss him R.I.P............Neil Warkentin

Ed worked on my construction projects, of and on for over 40 years. in that time he never had a disagreement or argument on details with with me. He was such a creative man, always willing to share his suggestions for improvements to make things better or more beautiful, but always gentle in the application of his ideas. What a legacy to leave behind. We enjoyed his handiwork in our home living space and that pure tenor voice in our church for decades.
A good friend. We will miss him.
Dennis and Lou Friesen.

Ed was like another grandparent to me. Matt and I were always welcome at the Esau house, and we had many adventures with Jordan. Ed always showed everyone great kindness. That love and kindness lives on through our memories of him.
Sincere condolences
