Obituary of Henry Braun

Henry Braun of Steinbach passed away at the Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, Manitoba on Saturday, June 6, 2020. He was 80 years old. Henry was born in Durango, Mexico.

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary (nee Wall) and their children; John (Lisa) Braun, Henry (Cristine) Braun, Anna (Peter) Wall, Mary (Steve) Peters, Peter (Lisa) Braun, Abey (Lisa) Braun, Tena (Rod) Klassen, Willie (Susie) Braun, 20 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his brothers Bill and Diedrich, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Elisabeth (Martens) Braun, four brothers and four sisters.

Henry was a loving, kind and thankful husband, father and grandfather. He will be incredibly missed.

A come & go viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

A private funeral service will be held at New Bothwell Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
