Peacefully, with his loving family at beside him, Abe Klassen, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on April 25, 2012 at the age of 77. Left to mourn his departure from this world are his loving wife, Eileen, daughters Karen (Michael), Cheryl (Art), sons Darrell (Susan), Allan (Elinor) and grandchildren: Kelsey, Brittany, Cody, Riley, Stephanie, Brendan, Braeden, Sydnee, Reece and many friends and extended family. The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses with CancerCare Manitoba and the Palliative Care unit of St. Boniface Hospital for making the end of life journey so caring. The funeral for Abe Klassen will be Monday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. at North Kildonan Mennonite Church, 1131 Roch St, with interment to follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery.
