Obituary of Peter Neufeld

It is with great sadness that we announce that Peter Neufeld passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 10:50 am at the age of 63, at his home in Mitchell, MB.

He is survived by his wife Justina, three daughters, two sons-in-law and two granddaughters.

Peter was born in Paraguay on November 28, 1956.

He got married on April 7, 1981, to Justina Dueck.

In his last 18 hrs. of life here on earth, he called so many times, “Jesus come and get me, I am so tired”. We all will miss him very much, but we know that one day we will see him again on that glorious day when Jesus comes again. 

1 Peter 1: 3-5

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay.  And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.

The private family service will be by invitation only, on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery.
