Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful tribute of your mother, Elizabeth Friesen. . I enjoyed it very much. Hearing some of the stories, I could relate to some, also. I had the pleasure of working with her briefly, before both of us got married. I was Annie Dueck at that time. ( just Incase you find my name in her diaries of those years) May God be with you as you carry on without her.

We enjoyed listening to this service. Much of what you said we can relate to as our "mother" Anne (Kroeker) Klassen also came from a nursing career to be our mother for many years. In fact, she and your mother were close friends and she talked fondly of her many times. May God send comfort and grace as you grieve her passing. Richard and Kathy Klassen, Steinbach

As a young child, I apparently called Aunt Elisabeth “Taunte Liebste” which was quite appropriate as she was very special to me. After she became a new mother to 7 children at once, she obviously didn’t have much time or energy for me anymore. We suddenly had a bunch of new cousins though, which made Reimer gatherings a lot more fun, as we now had more kids our age to play with.
We are thankful for her long life and are grateful to God for taking her Home to be with Him. She is now part of the “great cloud of witnesses” who are cheering us on as we continue our journey to the Promised Land.
We pray her family will experience the comfort of our Heavenly Father as they say good bye to their mother.

You have portrayed your mom well in the obituary and honoured her memory. May each of you in the family experience comfort as you mourn her passing while remembering how well she lived her life and loved you and has left you with a strong faith heritage.

Can't help but remember all the hours of singing our parents did for the "sick and the shut-ins". I hope Aunt Elizabeth was able to enjoy the faithful service of others.
