We rejoice with you in the pre-Christmas homegoing of your dear mother, and we grieve with you in the loss of a wonderful, strong woman of faith. She left a great legacy in your family as well as in our church. Reading back, I see she was one of the founding members of the "Flying Needles" in the 40's where the older women taught the younger women. This group eventually became known as the Junior Sewing Circle, and later the "Ladies Fellowship". Helen was always active in the church and contributed with a quiet strength. We were privileged to get to know your parents in their later years, and we very much treasured their support and their prayers. And even when your mom was in a wheelchair at Woodhaven, her gifts of hospitality shone, as she always wanted to offer us some refreshments! You have honoured her well at her funeral and it was a privilege to attend on-line. God bless you all. Dick & Lotti

Grandma was a lovely lady, full of grace and love for her family. Welcoming and always a beautiful smile. Raising 2 boys is hard, I always wonder how she raised those 3 rascals and they all came out so wonderful. Auntie Phyllis was probably a fantastic helper to her mother. Sending hugs to all our family. Love you lots!

Your Mother was a special, godly lady. We enjoyed visiting with her and Dan over the years.
We rejoice that she is free from suffering, and is in heaven with our wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ and also your Dad.
May you experience God’s peace . “May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.” 2nd Thessalonians 2:16
Love Gerry & Helen Rogers.

Condolences to the family. I have good memories of when we were neighbors growing up on Hanover. Your mom was always the proper lady even if we made a mess by the big laundry sink in the basement. Enjoyed a brif visit at their apartment before they left Steinbach. Ralph Toews

Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you walk through the wonderful memories of your Mom and feel the pain of lossing someone so precious. She was a great inspiration to me during the 23 years we spent in the same prayer team at church, her deep faith in God and compassion for others was very evident.

Clarence, Karen and the rest of the Brandt family
Our sympathies to you on the loss of a Mom with a gentle soul. Rod remembers the Wunderbars she gave him when he came to hang out with Clarence. In the last few years, Ellie visited with both your Mom and Dad at the Menno Home when they sat together for the Sunday morning worship service. Your Dad always sang along to the songs he knew and they both remembered me from one service to the next. Wonderfully gracious parents who have earned their place in heaven.

Oh Phyllis your momma finally gained her wings. What a brave and strong woman she was. I can only imagine how beautiful the reunion between your mom and dad was.
May you finally be able to rest knowing they are together again.
Sending you virtual hugs. Thinking of you.
