My deepest condolences to the Family. John was a good friend of mine and a very committed Tim's coffee buddy, I would usually see him driving past my office around 1:45pm and then I knew it was coffee time. A few month ago he invited me to his house and we had a long visit reminiscing about Trucking and many discussions about when we were living in Paraguay....He is dearly missed, and Im glad that we got to be friends all those years...Rest in Peace my Friend

John and Barbara Friesen, Silberfeld.
We just finished watching the live streamed service. It was a lovely tribute to your Dad. We wish your family all the best during this difficult time.We didn't know him very well but when we got together we enjoyed his quiet sense of humor.

Praying for your family today as you say your final goodbyes. I think my favorite memories are probably when I was a kid and his endless teasing and also his care for his sons. I always thought of him a a gentle giant. I know he will be missed by all of you.

Sincere condolences to all of you Friesen cousins and families. Because of our age differences, I didn’t really know John but do remember our Dad, Uncle Martin, speaking of him with fondness. Take care!
