I just watched your Mom's funeral on line. What a wonderful tribute to a lovely lady!
"Gone too soon" as is posted at the NIverville United Church. I agree.
Heaven most certainly gained yet another angel...but Niverville certainly lost a pillar of goodness. :-(
My sincerest condolences to the entire Hryb clan.

Our condolences to Jennifer, Rachel & Melissa & families. Susan was a beautiful person & will be missed so much. I have known Susan since they started coming to Niverville United Church. But I really got to know her well the last years when she started coming for quilting. She had a wicked sense of humour& loved a good joke. One day at quilting we would both answer if someone said Susan. So the conversation went on as to how to tell us apart. Susan suggested that I would be the original Susan & she would be the other Susan. So to the other Susan you will be missed more then words say. You have left a wealth of memories for your family & for us your church family. RIP other Susan. Neil & Susan Friesen

Jennifer, Rachel and Melissa,
We are so very grateful we got to know and worship with your mom! What a force!! Determined, succinct, funny, loving, kind and ALWAYS welcoming. She is the reason we felt comfortable coming to church initially as she was the one who greeted us with arms wide open. Niverville United Church and Susan were synonymous with each other. We are so very sorry for your loss and your husbands and grandkids loss. So, so hard for you all! May your memories of her be a blessing for you. We are thinking and praying for you all. The service was beautiful. Love, Jeannie and Bill McVicar and family

Only a few months ago while settling affairs for our departed Grandpa Ben, Auntie Susan invited me over to her house so I could work remotely in between meetings. I had not expected that she would have prepared lunch for me earlier in the day, expecting that I may come over. She not only prepared lunch for me, but was so thoughtful to have also considered my dietary restrictions in the process. That was my Aunt. Loving, always.

I wish that I could have been at Susan’s service today in person today, but thank you for sharing via livestream. It was beautiful.
Susan was an absolute gift and blessing to so many people. Susan was one of my mom’s very best friends and counted my mom as one of her sisters. I have more memories than I can count of Susan being a part of our lives, from my growing up years into adulthood. One of the biggest memories that always stands out for me is her food. Everything that Susan ever made tasted better than if it was made by anyone else. The platters of Christmas baking that we received were always a huge blessing. Susan’s support and friendship continued throughout my mom’s illness, right to the very end. It’s so hard to believe that they have been reunited again.
I know just how huge of a loss this is to all of you. I pray that God will shower His mercy and love upon you as you walk this journey of finding your new normal.
Sending lots of love,
Kathy

I am so heartbroken to hear of Aunty Suzie's passing.
The service today was beautiful. Aunty Suzie will be very much missed. I didn't have the opportunity to see her that often with living away, but when I did I so very very much looked forward to it! She was a ray of sunshine in any room she was in and I always truly enjoyed our visits.
So many good memories to cherish
My condolences to you all ❤

Our family was lucky enough to have been neighbours with the Hryb family for 20 years. (Auntie) Susan was a joy to spend time with. She was so full of life, so kind, and she had a great sense of humour. Susan was a very generous person. When our family got home from our year in Australia, she was the first person at our door with a tray of Christmas dainties. She babysat Katie and Allie when they were young and many years later she helped out at Katie's wedding. She and (Uncle) Steve raised three strong, intelligent, beautiful daughters and Melissa and Katie are still good friends to this day.
Susan left a mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. We are so sad that she was taken from this world much too soon. We will never forget her and she will be greatly missed.
Love, Ruth, Katie, Jason, Allie, & Eric

Susan was a great mentor to me - she was so beautiful inside and out. She knew how to talk to people and to listen. She never wanted to be in the spotlight but she was a huge comfort to so many. She was a quiet doer. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her 3 girls into such wonderful people. Her grandchildren will be a force to reckon with.
Thanks Susan for the shining example of yourself.
We send much Peace, Love and Comfort to her family

We first met Susan through my brother Tom & sister in law Clare. What a gift we received as we came to know her. Always kind, caring, so concerned about others. She was a lady who lived life as she believed. Her journey on this earth truly left a mark and an example for all of us. Most of all we so enjoyed that wonderful, wonderful sense of humour. Our wish for her family is that they know she will always be that caring angel watching over them.

Our hearts are broken, not just for ourselves but for the entire family of Hrybs and Kamkes who Susan so generously shared with us. We have so many wonderful memories because she took the time to be with friends and family. She laughed with us, she cried with us. Travels with her were awesome adventures and the sound of her laughter will ring in our ears as long as we live. Susan always joked that she would often go just one step too far in her humourous observations and commentaries. She never ran out of ice and always had an extra fawn blanket if someone got chilly sitting around the bonfire late in the evening. We loved her and knew she loved back. Our dear friend will be in our hearts forever. Make mine a double, Suzee!
With love from Roxanne and Barry Anderson

Susan was a long time employee with us for many years back when we had our video store. She always went over and above, and through thick and thin, with and for us. We depended on her strengths and didn't have to worry about anything when she was in charge of our store. Honest, dependable, hard working, and so down to earth with a great sense of humor. She was, at times, like a mom, a big sister, and a great friend always to our family. We shared many good times, laughs and even tears with her. Though I hadn't seen her for a while, she was thought of often. I still cherish the beautiful afghan she gifted to us one Christmas. We knew Susan as a fantastic, warm hearted mom and the absolute rock in her family's world and we both extend our deepest condolences to Jennifer, Rachel, Melissa, and your families . She is gone too sudden and too soon and the world will be emptier without her. RIP Susan. ♥♥♥
