My brother Henry was 12 yrs older than me remember my sisters and him would play monopoly but was not allowed to play seen and not heard lol he worked on a road construction crew and built #10 highway ,one day he came home with windup toy Jeep that would buck ,roll and turn ,don’t remember what happened to it ,but loved it ,before we travelled to Paraguay I was helping him splitting fire wood and left my middle finger on top of the wood block The axe came down too soon cutting off the tip my finger.later in life helped him shingle the roof of his home and build a garage. He built a motorized bicycle when worked as a farmhand for Murtas in graysville The engine failed in one my cars and he rebuilt the engine. He took a auto mechanics course by correspondence and later bought his own auto repair shop in New Bothwell.he always helped me wherever he could. In Paraguay he went into the bush and came home with a bag of delicious oranges. Watermelons grew big there we had a picture of 4 people sitting in front of a slice of watermelon . I was still. Young. When he started having children was great to have them visit when we lived in graysville.i have many fond memories and this is a few of them.wish you all good health and remember your dad and husband well.love you all Jake Falk

5 Years ago, on my first visit to Steinbach, my wife, Alvina, introduced me to Uncle Henry and Aunt Betty.
His integrity and good humour always added something extra to our day and lifted our spirits.
Even on the difficult journey he and Betty have had recently, his jolly greeting and spirit were a pleasure to us and, also, to those of us who have gotten to know him recently.
During our last visit with him at Morris, we sang several hymns together (every word and every verse of which he remembered perfectly) and his picture along, with Aunt Betty's, is in on our kitchen cabinet right now and we are thankful to have known him!
Don Ansley.

Sincere condolences to Betty, and the family. May you sense God's comfort and strength during this time. Going forward, let's reflect on Henry's journey in life on earth and how God worked on his character and prepared him to join Tina and all those gone before him with our Lord. I have many fond memories of playing "Up and down the river" every Sunday with Henry, Betty and Myron. Even though he could hardly see, he always wanted to play and we were partners and had many laughs. He was very optimistic in his bids and we humbly lost more games than we won. He just laughed and said, it's just a game, Alvina
