Obituary of Leopold Allgeier

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle, Leopold (Leo) Allgeier, on Monday, February 15, 2021, at Vita Care Home, Vita, MB., at the age of 84 years.

He is survived by his sister Lina Neumann, brother-in-law Fred of Frobisher, SK., his nephew Walter Neumann (Natascha) and their son Hunter of Frobisher, SK., and Richard Neumann of Estevan, SK.

He was predeceased by his parents Adele and August Allgeier, brother Reinhold and sister-in-law Annette.

Leo came to Canada in 1951 with his parents from Germany. In his younger years he worked cutting pulpwood. His last employment was with E. Holmgren and Son until his retirement.

Due to Covid restrictions, a service of remembrance will take place at a later date.
