It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edouard on February 21, 2021 just 2 weeks short of his 94th birthday, at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB. He fought a long and hard battle with COPD. He was a very loving and devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was always ready to welcome his family. He is survived by his children Jacques (Kathy), Laurette, Pauline, Agnès (Gil), Georges (Bev), Doris (Germain) and Lorraine (Dave), 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Irene (nee Sarrasin), parents Magloire and Apolline and a great-grandson Aidan. He was the last surviving sibling of eleven. He will also be missed by his extended family, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The family would like to thank Sr Rioux and Father Kevin for their spiritual support. We would also like to thank the staff of the Pavillon and Nursing Wing E of the Villa Youville and the doctors and staff of Ste. Anne and Bethesda Hospitals. A special thank you to our sister Agnès and brother Georges for the care they gave our father on his many trips to the hospital in the last year. Due to Covid 19 restrictions a private family service will be held.

Bye for now. We love you and will miss you.
