Obituary of Luella Andres

On Sunday, January 2, 2022, Luella Mae Andres went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; and also, to see her loved ones who have gone before her.

Luella is survived by her son William Swiscoski and his wife Mary Lou; two sisters: Ann West & Lois Koop (Gordon Koop); brother Sam Wiens; numerous nieces & nephews; and the family of her late husband George Andres.

She was predeceased by George Andres in January 2017, her parents: Isaac T. & Bertha Wiens; sister Esther & her husband Harold Gerbrandt; brother Ted Wiens; sisters-in-law: Elizabeth & Emma; brother-in-law John West; and her first husband Melvin Swiscoski.

She was born on August 17, 1935, and raised in Steinbach, MB. Luella Mae moved back to Steinbach from Brandon in 2004 after the death of her husband Joseph Mastin. Brandon was her place of residence for 45 years and most of her working years, she was employed by a local furrier.

Her remains will be interred in a reserved plot in Section 49 of Brandon Cemetery. The graveside service is open to friends and family and will take place on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.

A private family memorial service will take place on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.
