My very deepest condolences to the entire Plett family. To my cousins, my memories of Auntie Lil consist mostly of all of you - our times together laughing, talking, playing and, as Charles by far knows best, fighting. Auntie Lil wouldn't keep to close a watch, but she was always near by making sure that things went as smoothly as they could. When she comes to mind, you all come to mind. I am thankful to God for all that she instilled in all of you and somewhat frustrated with myself that I never saw deeper into what her own life was. May her rest be sweet, and our hours spent well.

Hi Edwin,
Our sincere condolences to you at this difficult time. You and your wife did great work in Taber and were very supportive of us and others who helped people find their way. May God comfort you in the days to come. George & Leora Epp

One beautiful memory of a beautiful cousin. When I was a very young girl we visited at Uncle Abe and Elizabeth’s home frequently. One lovely summer day as all of us cousins were playing Lillian planned a ‘full on’ Field Day for us complete with lemonade stand, hotdogs and races with ribbons (or prizes, not sure). We had so much fun and for probably the only time in my life I won a race. Julia ( a couple of years younger than I was) and I got to race forward and all the boys had to run backwards! That is one memory from a lifetime of appreciation for a special cousin. I also remember when she was a bit older that she was not fond of hanging her laundry outside to dry before heading back to her employment because the clothes would smell like the ‘farm animals’.

When we lived in Landmark there were many coffee nights. We will always remember yours and Edwin's friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. You have gone home.
