Obituary of Joseph Gilles Raymond Desautels

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Raymond, 92 years of age, surrounded by his wife and children and grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife Noella, of 68 years.  His children, Daniel (Janice), Patsy (Blaine) and Solange. His grandchildren Ryan (Nicola), Melissa (Mark), Carlin (Christa), Shauna (Mike), and his great-grandchildren James, Mason, Lincoln and Arabella.  His brothers Henri (Juliette), Edgar (Jackie), Philippe (Lea), Maurice (Linda) and brother-in-law Stan.  Many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandson Trevor, parents, sisters Rita, Lucie and Noella.

Raymond was very active in his Catholic faith.  He was a 4th degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 18, at 1:00 pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH  52W, Steinbach, MB.  To keep everyone safe, please wear a mask. 

Thank you to the nurses and Drs., 5th floor, St. Boniface Hospital for the wonderful care he received in such a short time.
