Rosie Funk has been a strong woman of faith and known as a prayer warrior. She was baptized upon confession of her faith at a young age and her faith never wavered. She attended the Sommerfeld Church throughout most of her adult life. Rosie Funk was a super-Grandma and has been a grandmother to many more than her biological grandchildren, sewing countless baby quilts and cooking big Mennonite feasts for all who were lucky enough to grace her kitchen. Rosie loved with her whole being and heart. This unconditional love she poured out into the world also made her easy to love and most who knew her were on “Team Rosie”.
For those who are also on Team Rosie, the funeral service will be held at on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with viewing one hour prior to the service. To join the family via livestream please click HERE shortly before the time of the service.
