Obituary of Jeanne Faucher-Boily

Jeanne Marie Marylyn Faucher-Boily, 70 years of age of La Broquerie, Manitoba, passed away after a long illness surrounded by family on October 26^th, 2022, in the comfort of her family home.

She was predeceased by her parents Didius and Angeline (Nee Proulx) Faucher, brothers Robert, Marcel and Paul Faucher.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Benoit Boily, and their son Jason Boily and family, and daughter Amanda Chaput and family: six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is also survived by her sister Henriette Trist & Joanne Faucher, and brothers Claude Faucher & Henri Faucher.

Jeanne married Benoit Boily on August 3, 1991. She loved to spend quality time with her family, laughing and was always wearing a big beautiful smile on her face.  She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother and friend, always thinking of others first. Jeanne always enjoyed helping others and worked for many years in home care until her health prevented her services.  Jeanne had a love for life and enjoyed tending to her garden and yard, baking, cooking, cleaning and laundry also gave her much pride.

As Jeanne’s health declined over the past year we would like to thank healthcare team at Cancer Care, Bethesda Regional Health Centre and St. Anne Hospital.  The family wishes to express thanks to the homecare staff, palliative care team, family managed care team and silver lining staff who all provided excellent and compassionate care for Jeanne throughout her fight with cancer and especially in the last five weeks of life.  We would also like to thank the family that stepped in to assist Jeanne at home to make her final days as comfortable as possible.

Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, November 3^rd, 2022, at 1:15 p.m. at Paroisse Saint-Joachim, 101 Principale St., La Broquerie, MB, with the funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Birchwood Funeral Chapel to assist the family in purchasing a memorial plaque.
