My deepest symapthy to your and your family, Anne. Henk's wise counsel, compassion and understanding got me through the lowest days of my life, and I am forever grateful to the kind, gentle, faith-filled person that he was. I tried to get to the city for the funeral but had car trouble so now am waiting to view it online. Take good care. Kim McLeod

I have fond memory of Henk from when he performed the ceremony at the marriage of his daughter Carol to my brother Perry. As we stood on a large rock at Big Whiteshell Lodge on a beautiful sunny day Henk looked at Carol with much love and pride as he recited their nuptials. I think he spoke slowly in the hopes that she would change her mind. I remember the large smile on his face as he pronounced them husband and wife. I will remember the soft spoken and warm hearted man❤️

Sue and I always felt welcome, in the arms of the Booy family. One of the first gestures we would be Hwnks smile greeting and welcomes.We will miss this warm wondrous person. Our deepest condolences for his family, especially for Anne his partner of many years.
