Obituary of Stella Saindon

Stella Saindon (née Neault) née le 12 juin 1941 à Saint-Boniface, Manitoba est décédée le 6 mars 2023 à l'âge de 81 ans à Sainte-Anne, Manitoba.

Stella était une femme loyale et travailleuse sur laquelle on pouvait toujours compter. Elle avait de la volonté, était têtue et n'avait pas peur de donner son opinion. Lorsqu'elle a pris sa retraite, Stella menait une vie très simple et avait commencé à se rendre en Alberta pour passer plusieurs mois avec sa soeur Della et sa famille.

Stella chérissait le temps qu'elle passait avec Doris faires des commissions à chaque semaine et leurs diners ensemble.

Stella aimait crocheter, jardiner avec sa famille, faire de la courtepointe et était une collectionneuse passionnée de poupées et de salières et poivrières.

Stella était connue pour avoir de nombreuses conversations avec des étrangers et pouvait vous faire rire avec son humour plein d'esprit.

Stella n'avait pas d'enfants, mais ses chiens Princess, King et Trixie étaient les amours et les lumières de sa vie.

Stella a rejoint son mari Philip et sa sœur jumelle Della (Fern) au paradis.  Elle est également prédécédée par ses parents Aimé et Florence Neault, ses frères et sœurs Roland, Gérard et Eveline, ainsi que par sa belle-sœur Elaine.

Stella manquera à ses frères et sœurs

Gilles, Allan, Rosemary, Doris (John), Gabriel (Shirley), Ronald (Maggie), sa belle-sœur Jovita, son beau-frère Dave et de nombreux neveux et nièces.

Stella avait une foi inébranlable et se réjouira avec ses proches au ciel. Elle a touché de nombreuses vies et manquera à tous.

Stella Saindon (née Neault) born June 12, 1941, in St. Boniface, Manitoba, passed away on Monday,  March 6, 2023, at the of age of 81 in Ste. Anne, Manitoba.

Stella was a loyal and hard-working lady that you could always depend on. She was strong willed, stubborn and wasn’t afraid to give you her opinion. Stella lived a very simple life when she retired, and then she started travelling to Alberta to spend several months with her sister Della and family.

Stella cherished her time with Doris on their weekly grocery shopping trips and lunch dates.

Stella’s hobbies included crocheting, gardening with family, quilting and was an avid collector of dolls and salt and pepper shakers.

Stella was known to have many conversations with strangers and could make you laugh with her witty humour.

Stella did not have children but her dogs Princess, King and Trixie were the loves and brightest lights of her life.

Stella has joined her husband Philip and twin sister Della (Fern) in heaven.  She is also predeceased by her parents Aimé and Florence Neault, siblings Roland, Gerard, Eveline and sister-in-law Elaine.

Stella will be missed by her siblings Gilles, Allan, Rosemary, Doris (John), Gabriel (Shirley), Ronald (Maggie) sister-in-law Jovita, brother-in-law Dave and many nieces and nephews.

Stella had a strong faith and will be rejoicing with loved ones in heaven. She touched many lives and will be missed by all.

The memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Ave., Ste. Anne, MB, with reception to follow at Club Jovial, 157 Central Ave., Ste. Anne, MB.
