Obituary of Clara Martens

On Sunday, March 12, 2023, our beloved Clara Kathy Martens (Klippenstein) passed away, at the age of 66, after a brief illness.

We are heartbroken to lose someone so special but at the same time we grieve with hope knowing that our dear Clara is at home with Jesus. She was an incredible lady full of joy and life who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Martens, her children: Shaun (Madelyn) Martens, Tyrone (Stacey) Martens, Cassandra (Tony) Giesbrecht; her grandchildren: Braxton, Terell, Jase, Josiah, Callia, Remington, Amadaya, and Malachi; her stepmother: Mary Klippenstein (Roy); and her siblings: Harvey (Rose) Klippenstein, Brenda (Werner) Dueck, Shirley (Marvin) Kornelsen, Darlene Martin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, David and Susan Klippenstein and her brother, Victor Klippenstein.

All are welcome to her burial on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. CDT at the Grunthal Cemetery, Grunthal, MB.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. CDT at the Southland Church, Steinbach, MB.

A Celebration of Life with a faspa reception will immediately follow where an open mic will be available. We’d love to hear the stories of how Clara blessed your life.
