My dear friend Marilyn and family. How saddened we were to learn of your beloved George's passing. He was a very special and kind man whom I got to know on some of our bus trips. He will be missed by all who knew him and especially you. Thinking of you with love and prayers and may he rest in peace in the safe arms of our creator. Love Brucie & Doug.

Eileen, Henry and George’s family,
Bev & I wish to extend our sincere condolences to you, at this time of loss, grief, and period of many adjustments to be made.
Though, regrettably, we did not get to know George & family, personally, (we moved to the countryside in ‘69), if sounds like he had many good family and friends who enjoyed a wonderful life with him in their lives.
May all of you sense God’s peace supporting, surrounding and caring for you.
Bev & Clare Neufeld

Sincere condolences to Marilyn & her family on their tragic loss. My memories of George go back to our school elementary school days (beginning in 1950) & concluding in Niverville High School (1960s). Our paths parted at this point, but in recent years - upon our annual return to MB. each summer - we made it a point to visit George & Marilyn at their country home near Steinbach. It was always a delightful visit high-lighted by an introduction to their miniature horses.
George always impressed with his keen intellect, high energy level & positive attitude. He will be missed!
May the many fond memories of George comfort & sustain you as you continue life's journey Marilyn & family.
Respectfully,
Eugene & Judith Wiebe

Our sincerest condolences to the family. I got to know your dad, grandpa when I worked at Rest Haven Nursing Home and he would bring the little horses into our Multipurpose room for Fathers Day, for the men to reminsce, and spent lots of his time just chatting about horses and farm-life with them.
He was such a blessing.

Marilyn and family : So very sorry to hear of George's passing and his health issues. Our sincere sympathy to you, Marilyn and family. May the Lord comfort you in this time of sorrow.
Our working paths crossed for a brief time in Port Arthur [now Thunder Bay], when George was transferred there and I came back to Wpg. We enjoyed our time at the bowling league at Roxy Lanes in Winnipeg with other friends and at bank functions.
George always had a big smile and a story to tell about his miniature horses.
Well remembered . Len & Sita Schultz.

Marilyn and family;
Our condolences go out to the entire Peters family. George was a longtime (lifetime) associate at RBC and while we never worked together, we are from the same era and our paths often crossed. Cherish all the memories of a life well lived.
