Katharina (Tina) Barkman, 74, of Steinbach, Manitoba passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Osoyoos, British Columbia. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Elmer, her children: Wanda (Bret) Nazworth, Garry (Cynthia) Barkman, Fern (Alan) Bleiken, Brenda Barkman and Donna Barkman and their families. She was predeceased by four siblings. Viewing will be held at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach on Wednesday, August 22 at 7:00 p.m. with a devotional at 7:30 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blumenort Evangelical Mennonite Church with interment at the church cemetery.
