Obituary of Jacqueline Maynard (née Bugera)
Words cannot express the shock and sadness we feel as we announce Jacqueline's unexpected passing. Jacqueline was Bruno’s high school sweetheart…. wife…. mother…farm girl… amateur weather forecaster… dietitian at Foyer Valade, Victoria General Hospital and Bethesda Regional Health Centre.
She was the very loving wife of Bruno. She was the very, very proud mother of Matéo and Micah who are so strong and so caring of their sister bébé Esmé. She will be greatly missed by her mother Murielle Bugera, her brothers Ivan (Sheri) and Daniel (Anja), and little sister Valerie (Colin), as well as her grandmother Colette Préfontaine. Sharing the grief are her parents-in-law Pierre and Andrée Maynard, her brother and sister-in-law Darrel (Lucie) and Chantale (Judith ) and her nieces and nephews (Sébastien, Philippa, Nicholas, Nanna, Deven, Katrine, Damien) who will greatly miss her kind attention. She leaves behind her many aunts and uncles, cousins, and lots and lots of friends! She was greeted at heaven’s gate by her father Lawrence (Larry) and grandfather Jacques Préfontaine.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Malo Grotto, De La Grotte Ave, St. Malo, MB, where Bruno and Jacqueline were wed in 2014. In case of rain, mass will be held at the St. Malo Roman Catholic Church.
Private interment will follow in the St. Pierre Cemetery. Reception will be at the St. Pierre-Jolys Recreation Centre Hall, 545 Av. Hebert, St Pierre-Jolys, MB, with the adjacent Parc Carillon providing kids’ activities.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Jacqueline to the St. Pierre Hospital Foundation.
