Tragically, in the early morning hours of August 23, Dillon Lupky passed away. Dillon was born in Steinbach, MB on July 4, 1993 and lived there his whole life. If one word could be used to describe Dillon, that word would be passionate. Whether it was his childhood toys, his numerous pets, his interest in creative writing, or his desire to walk everywhere he went Dillon didn't do any of it half way. One would be hard pressed to find another person his age that had a deep appreciation for films and the film industry that went back to the silent era. Dillon was a caring and compassionate man and his absence in his friends' and families lives will be impossible to replace. Dillon was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Nick and Yvonne Lupky and his maternal grandparents Cornelius and Katherine Friesen. He is survived by his parents Darrell and Mary Ann, his brother Derek and his sister Megan. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, his cousins and literally dozens of friends. The funeral will take place Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, 422 Main Street, Steinbach, MB, with interment at Heritage Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral expenses.
