Marvin passed away suddenly and peacefully at home in Ostenfeld, MB, at the age of 73.

He was predeceased by his great grandparents Mr and Mrs Luke Bugyik; paternal grandparents Luke and Rosanna (Karsey) Bugyik, maternal grandparents Adam and Nettie (Walduda) Pochipinski; Uncles Allen, John and Sidney;  parents, Louis and Lily (Pochipinski) Bugyik.

Dearly missed by brothers Ray (Sharon) with their children, niece and goddaughter Shaylene (Shaun) Corneillie; their children Cailyn and Claire, and nephew Calvin (Danusia) Bugyik and their children, Holden and Adalynn; Gary (Louise) Bugyik with their son, nephew Paul Bugyik and his children, Emily and Joshua; and sister Gaylene (Ken) Kramchynski with their children, niece and goddaughter Lianne Kramchynski and nephew Kyle Kramchynski. Marvin is remembered by maternal aunts Olive Williams and Ann Pochipinski and relatives from the Pochipinski family, recently reunited relatives from great aunt Christina (Krisztina Bugyik) Hawkins family, kind neighbours and loyal friends.

Marvin was born at St Boniface Hospital and raised in Ostenfeld where he lived on the farm most of his life. Marvin attended Uppingham School, a one room school, either walking or biking one and a half miles each way.  Starting in grade 9, Marvin had a 45-minute bus ride to Springfield Collegiate Institute until he graduated grade 12. Marvin furthered his education by attending British Columbia Institute of Technology now called Simon Fraser University, becoming a Public Health Inspector for the Province of Manitoba. This was to be his career, first working in Dauphin, then completing his career with the City of Winnipeg, retiring after 35 years of service. The call of the farm and the Ostenfeld community was dear to his heart. Care giving for his parents eventually left him to be his own boss, continuing to serve on committees like the Ostenfeld Lutheran Church, Manitoba Pool and spending time at auction sales. He found pleasure tinkering with his tractor collection focusing on John Deere and older Ford models, projects around the yard and what was growing on the farm, helping others and joining family for special occasions. We will truly miss him. He was the historian of the siblings, hard working, faithful, loyal and loved all things old and priceless.
