Obituary of Brittany Ann Krieger

The Celebration of life for Brittany will take place on Saturday, September 23^rd 2023 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m at Kleefeld Park.

It is with heavy hearts and much sorrow that we gather to mourn the loss of our beloved sister, auntie, and friend, Brittany Ann Krieger.

Brittany was born on January 17^th, 1990 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  The fourth child in a family of many siblings, she grew up on the Manitoba prairies and later moved to British Columbia.  Brittany had an amazing zest for life and loved being out in nature.  Her strong work ethic and adventurous nature led her down varying paths.  Brittany was never afraid to try something new, and when she did, she usually gave it her all.  The first to drop everything she was doing for those she cared about, and the last to ask for help when she needed it, Brittany was a true treasure to anyone who was blessed to know her.  Her laughter will echo in our hearts and minds forever. 

Brittany’s unique sense of humor was always an effective remedy for times when life felt heavy.  She had both a peaceful and restless spirit all bound into one beautiful soul.  She was the best travel companion – whether you were just out for a drive, or, as Erica and Chris learned, traveling across country.  Wherever you found Brittany, you found laughter, joy, and humor.  We cherish those memories.

Over the last few years, communication from Brittany was sparse, but she was never really far from our hearts, minds and prayers.  We will miss her immensely. 

Brittany left our world on April 26^th, 2023.  She leaves to mourn her sisters Erica (Richard), niece Tanika, nephew Chase, sister Jessica (Corey), nephews Caleb and Colby, sister Colleen, sister Flori and nephew Sylas and brother Zachery.  She was predeceased by her brother Clifford, brother Christopher, and mother, Florence. 

Erica and her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who not only offered their support during this difficult time, but also offered their friendship to our beloved sister, friend, and auntie.  A special thank you to Constable Derrick McWilliams and Golden RCMP, Nuala Wolfe from BC Victims Services, and Kevin Bolen from Bowers-Hindman Funeral Home.  Until we meet again dear friend.
