Obituary of Gisele Hupe

Gisele Hupe, age 64, of Richer, Manitoba, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023.

She is survived by her beloved husband Roger Hupe and their daughter Danielle (Tom) Morriseau, son Patrick Hupe, three grandchildren, Danika Morriseau, Dominic Hupe and Zacharie Hupe.

Gisele worked for the government for 30 years. After retirement, she joined the Manitoba Metis Federation and became the chairperson of the Richer Metis Local. She worked incredibly hard for her community and always loved giving back. She was honored to be part of such a great organization and was proud to be a Metis woman.

She always loved the outdoors, camping with friends and family was one of her favourite past times.

Gisele was such a strong and caring soul. She loved her family dearly and adored her grandchildren very much. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May you rest in peace.
