Helen was loved by the class participants at our aquacise classes. She would always meet you with a big smile and a positive greeting, even on the coldest of winter mornings! Even when she could no longer participate in the class due to failing health, she would sometimes come and watch, cheering us on from the sidelines. She was given hugs by many, a testament to her positive impact and the deep connections to her friends at the pool. She will be missed and remembered fondly! Deepest condolences Ed and family on her passing.

We offer our sincere condolences to Edwin and family, in Helen’s home-going. Helen loved and lived her Christian faith, sharing her smiles, energy and caring to all whom she met. She always held a special place in my heart, after having entrusted their beautiful children to my care in the time of Edwin’s lengthy hospital stay after an unfortunate work accident. That allowed her time to spend time with Edwin in hospital, and I had the privilege of caring for the children. May the love of God and your many memories sustain you all at this time, day by day.
Most sincerely, Dorothy (Hildebrand) and Werner Braun

When we think of Helen, the "heroes of the faith" found in Hebrews 11 comes to mind. Helen was always so encouraging, always kind and loving and so full of life. Our world was made better with Helen in it. Edwin and family, we are saddened for your loss and we pray that you would experience God's comfort and nearness as your grieve.
With much love,

Helen simply sparkled with God's joy. I was drawn to her warmth when we met at Penner Foods, where I joined the demo team. Helen (together with Marilyn Engel and the other more experienced team members) coached me. The acceptance and love I experienced extended to my family. Even in recent years, Helen often asked about our children. I cherish her friendship and many great memories. God grant you, Edwin, and to each of your children and grandchildren, His comfort now and in the weeks and years to come.

Sincere condolences to you Edwin, Phyllis, Audrey and family I haven't met. Helen was an extra special lady and friend who went out of her way to look out for others. I will miss her, and look forward to seeing her again in heaven, with her awesome new body and dancing shoes on!
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with Him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words.

My husband Ray and I offer our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family for loss such an intricate and amazing member of your family. We had the enormous pleasure of meeting and spending time with Audrey’s mom Helen at several family and friend gatherings when they would come to Abbotsford . We knew her as a loving mother and grandmother who was vivacious, happy, positive, and caring through to her very core! She will truly be missed in so many ways by her loving and dedicated family but whom we hope can take great comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven with her Lord and Saviour. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Our Condolences to Ed and Family. Our memories of Helen are from aquasize classes where she would float around and talk to everyone who didn't look like they were working too hard. She was a very positive lady and always had a lovely smile. Her innocent honesty and quiet sense of humor often brightened up many peoples days. We got to share in her lovely cinnamon buns when there was a get together. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, and am sure she will be missed by all who knew her.

A Tribute to Helen,
Helen lived a full life as a wonderful example of a Godly woman. Her kindness was shown in so many ways. She always thought of others above herself. She reached out to many friends and those in need with encouraging words, delicious meals and wonderful baking!
Helen had such a beautiful smile, spoke kind, cheerful words and had a desire to show Gods love to everyone she met.
Her love for her grandkids and great grandchildren was so special. She was a very dear, kind grandma and they all loved her and will miss her so much!
She was a great example of a Godly marriage, modeling love, and commitment to Edwin and the true friendship they had for so many years.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
Proverbs 31:28
Helen modeled God’s love and servant heart and that will live on in the lives of her family. We will all miss you Helen!
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for every. Psalm 23:6

My dear Helen, how can I ever forget you . You would always take the time to say hi or you are doing a great job; when I was either in the church kitchen or at sobeys and of course like always, helen had a great smile. Helen's memories will never be forgotten. RIP

To Edwin and family.
Barb and I are deeply sadden by the passing of a most remarkable lady, Helen. It was an honor to be your backyard neighbor for so many years. Helen was always full of joy and smiles and always pointed out the positives and never the negatives. We pray for your family that you find comfort in knowing that she is still smiling down on us...and embracing the Mansion that God prepared for her.

I have found memories of Helen as 'a demo lady' at Penner Foods! She was so gifted in connecting with others and quite the sales lady when demoing products she believed in! Helen was a ray of sunshine and how fortunate we were to have rubbed shoulders with her at Penner Foods. Thank you for sharing your Mom with all of us.
