Obituary of Margaret Elva Wiebe

Margaret Elva Wiebe, age 87, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB. She was born on June 9, 1936, in Wellwood, Manitoba to Roy and Edna Miller.

Margaret was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She touched the lives of so many with her warmth, kindness, and generosity. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Above all, Margaret cherished her family. She is survived by her son Randy Wiebe (Brenda), her daughter Kathy Klassen (Jeremy), and granddaughter Robyn Matthews (Jason). Her love and devotion to her family were unwavering, and she created countless beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.

She was predeceased by her husband Bob Wiebe, sons John Roy, Michael, and Richard.

Throughout her life, Margaret was known for her sense of humor, being a true friend and confidant. Margaret loved her animals and they loved her. Be they one of her many pets or a rescued baby robin off the front lawn which still comes back in the spring looking for her. Her yard could always be counted on to have beautiful flowers. She was such a strong woman, who overcame many life's hardships.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Steinbach Memorial Cemetery.
