Obituary of Rose Freund

Rose Freund, aged 89 years, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Kris) and son Brian (Lorna), grandchildren Nicole (Tyler Hamel) and Miranda Freund, sister Fran Moroz, sister-in-law Adelaide Freund, sister-in-law Ruth Bachinski, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Leonard in 1988, her parents Walter and Stella Bachinski, brother Norman Bachinski and brother-in-law Ed Moroz.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff for their care and support during this time. 

The funeral service will be held on Friday October 27, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Steinbach, MB., with viewing prior to the service.

Interment will take place at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Friedensfeld, MB.
