Obituary of John Friesen

John Friesen, aged 89 years, of Grunthal, MB., passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Menno Home for the Aged, Grunthal, MB.

John Friesen was born June 1^st, 1934, to Johan & Aganetha Friesen (nee Martens).

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Hedy, four sons: Gerald (Karen), Ken (Maria), Ed (Lorraine), Carl (Marsha); 11 grandchildren plus five spouses, and eight great-grandchildren. John is also survived by one sister Agnes and one brother Henry (Marge).

John was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Abe and Len as well as a sister in infancy.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 5^th, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Elim Mennonite Church, Grunthal, MB.
