Obituary of Darrell James Scott MacDonald

Darrell MacDonald age 47 from Landmark Manitoba, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 14, 2023, at the Steinbach CrossFit Gym.

He was born on June 15, 1976, to Garry MacDonald & Rhonda MacDonald at The Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife Angela, son Alex (Kaylyn), daughter Kyla (Madison), his mother Rhonda, sister Michelle and nephews Kai and Tre, his parents in-law John and Helen Bergen, brother in-law Greg and wife Tanya, brother in-law Patrick, nieces and nephews Charlotte, Gabrielle, Andrew, Diamond, Mickaely, Tyler and Matthew as well as many other family and friends who he was loved by.

He was predeceased by his father Garry MacDonald.

Angela and Darrell were married on October 10th, 1998, and recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. Darrell enjoyed CrossFit and coaching football, fishing, hunting, and took honour in his work as a draftsmen at Penner Farms. He enjoyed going to Buffalo Point for boating and tubing on the lake during the summer season. He was loved and will continue to be loved and missed by all who knew him.

A thank you to Colin and Hilary at CrossFit as well as the paramedics who desperately tried to save him on the night of his passing.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Crossview Church, 345 Loewen Blvd., Steinbach, MB.
