Obituary of Lerena Lee Townsend

Lerena Lee Townsend, age 79 of Oak Lake, Manitoba, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, while at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Brandon, MB.

She is survived by her beloved son Beau Choquette, 49, her daughter Tammy Choquette, 58, grandson Kane, great-grandson Atlas Choquette and granddaughter Kaidence Choquette. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Bridges.

She was predeceased by her great-grandson Demitri Choquette.

Mom worked in the medical field for the bulk of her life. She married Richard Choquette, who adopted Tammy and they had Beau in 1974. She loved her 1969 Charger SE that she had since new. She helped her son selflessly single parent his son Kane. Mom loved her dog Angel, and her son’s puppy Anubis.

Lerena was very kind, selfless and understanding. She will be so missed.
