He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife of 56 years Olga (Reimer) Kroeker, two sons, Michael (Joyce) Kroeker and Phillip Kroeker; five grandchildren, Falon (Denis) Vien, Dolorese (Sean Choiselat) Kroeker, Vincent Kroeker, Ciara Kroeker, and Chloe Kroeker; two great grandchildren, Michelle Vien and Maurice Vien; three brothers, Fred Kroeker (Carol), Rudy Kroeker, Jim Kroeker and one sister, Verna Hiebert (Neil); two brothers-in-law, Ron Reimer (Janet), Ray Reimer (Lorena), and one sister-in-law Linda Schellenberg (Norm).
Dad was born on December 29, 1945, in the RM of Hanover. Dad fell in love and married Olga Reimer and together they raised two boys in Kleefeld, Manitoba, until they retired and moved to Paradise Village in Ste. Anne. In September 2020, Dad was diagnosed with dementia and being unable to walk due to back issues was moved into Bethesda Place where he stayed till his passing.
Dad was a man of many talents from making cheese to drywalling to owning a Pic a Pop shop in Morris, Manitoba, to becoming a beekeeper and farming with his father-in- law and finally owning and operating K&K Trucking. Dad enjoyed many hobbies such as woodworking, puzzling, flying fishing, and crocheting, but his favorite pass time was playing cards with his family. At the age of 17, Dad was in an automobile accident that left him in a cast with a broken hip. During his downtime, his mom taught him how to crochet, becoming an avid crocheter and completing many beautiful projects. This led him to being featured on an episode of the TV show On the Road Again.
Dad will be remembered for his wonderful smile,
Special Thank You to Doctor Brittany Penner, Crystal Champagne and all the wonderful staff at Bethesda Place for there wonderful care of Dad.
