Obituary of Robert Badgley

Robert Badgley, age 69 of Vita, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

He is survived by his beloved wife Susan; daughters Clara (Jason), Victoria, Stephanie (Austin), Christine; grandchildren Tristen (Kalem), Tyler, Sebastian, Mia. Robert is also survived by sister Elaine (Doug); brothers Rodney, Bruce (Shanna); sisters-in-law Helen (Isaac), Marianne (Brad), Sarah (Gord); mother-in-law and father-in-law Annie and Bill Thiessen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was predeceased by his parents Marget and Bryce Badgley, and sister-in-law Linda Badgley.

Robert grew up in Woodmore, MB. He attended school in Woodmore, Greenridge, and Emerson, was a member of 4-H – Beef and enjoyed woodworking. He got to see the country while driving truck and worked for awhile in construction. He spent his last years before retiring driving for Lamont trucking. Dad really loved to go to his tractor pulls every summer.

The memorial service for Robert will be held on Friday, January 5, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the Stuartburn Gospel Chapel, 9 Emerson Street, Stuartburn, MB.
