I had the privilege to work with Tom for many years at Bruce Power. He was a hard worker, a good man, a great friend.

Such sad news about such a nice person. We worked together on the same crew for almost all of his 25 years. Could always count on Tom to get those D2O in H2O monitors back on line. Lunchtime would consist of current events, politics, or science, - like our discussion on the power of mother nature when he brought in pieces of his clothesline that was mostly vaporized by a lightning strike, - and why he would rather take a bus for 24+ hours to travel 1800km rather than drive to Red Lake. The stock market was always on our list for discussion and his pick for “must have stock” for his portfolio. Knowing Tom would make anyone richer, not just for his market tips but because of his gentile nature.

I am saddened to hear that Tom died; far too young. We only had a working relationship but it was always a pleasant experience. My sincere sympathies to all …

I first came to know Tom when I aided him to get to the Bruce site from Pickering. Upon his arrival Tom and I often shared time over coffee or something a bit stronger. We did this with some regularity for a few years. Time and changing obligations allowed us to visit less and less often, but Tom was kind and he enjoyed spending a bit of time with my children when they were little. Tom was a font of information on many subjects and he aided me and others when he could. Nevertheless, this is sad and we pass along our condolences.

Our paths crossed many times at work I do not remember a cross word or a time when he was not smiling such a nice guy. Far to young to have left this world. Rest in peace Tom. My condolences to his family.

Tom was a good man and very compassionate man. He was giving and caring, with the wanderlust of life.. travel foods history people, you name it. I will always treasure his acceptance of me as “ one of the family”! I’m sure he is up there exploring! And keeping an eye on those who were lucky enough to have his love. My sincere sympathies to all his family and friends. Fly high Tom!
