Obituary of Justina Dyck

Justina Dyck, aged 72 years, of Steinbach, MB., passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Jacob Dyck, children Helena (Dustin) Betts, John Dyck, Justina (Leo) Kornelsen, Jake Dyck, Susie (Billy) Pichula, Nettie Dyck, and grandchildren Brianna Betts, Gavin Betts, Keegan Kornelsen, Shaelyn Kornelsen, Maddisyn Kornelsen, Jeremiah Pichula and Thane Pichula. Justina will also be lovingly remembered by her siblings John (Aganetha) Fehr, Jake (Tina) Fehr, Corney (Anna) Fehr, Tina (John) Harder, Helena (Jake) Fehr, Mary (Abe) Harder, Pete (Christine) Fehr, Anna (Henry) Funk, Margaret (Jake) Friesen, Susie (Peter) Friesen, and Sara (George) Harder, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Helena Fehr and in-laws Jake and Justina Dyck.  

Justina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who was known for her smile and kindness. She will be forever missed but is filled with joy to be in heaven.

The family would like to thank all the medical staff, EMS, family, and friends who have walked this road with them and loved them so well through this difficult journey.  

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with viewing one hour prior to the service. 

The interment will take place at Silberfeld Cemetery, R.M. of Hanover, MB.

Donations in memory of Justina may be made to Birchwood Funeral Chapel to assist the family with funeral expenses.
